Long wearing silica-blend tread compounds are used and these are molded in to a symmetric tread design that is multifaceted. The shoulder and sidewall appearances offer a rugged look and have very good on the road comfort and winter time traction. A rubber compound is molded in the tread grooves at the base which gives it a lot resistance to stone and rock. The high tensile steel belts, about which the tire is formed, help to absorb road noise and provide a smooth ride.
